:: Seven months and dying for more. Unfortunately...

It's been seven months of pure fun. The car really grew on me and I feel perfectly at ease. It's so easy to drive so very hard, every time again the car tempts you to let the turbo kick in. And I let it tempt me.

Some near-accident though... driving 140, I hit a block of wood on the freeway, sending me skidding with a truck on my left side and a Mercedes at the right. I hit the accelerator with opposite lock and it pulled itself out. Too bad, flat tire. Limp mode and off to the right side of the road, slowly. That's where I changed the wheel for the spare one. What's that? My mountain bike has thicker tires!

So with a backup tire, heading the way to work, 80 kilometers (50 miles) per hour. Trucks passing, a red wheel at the left front, people watching me off the road. Ah well, luckily, it turned out the wheel was hit but could be repaired. The tire: no puncture, the air just went away by the bent wheel. Is God watching over us Coupe drivers?

250km/h is slow. I won from a Honda S200 with 4 people in the car and their luggage. At 250km/h, the car keeps itself as stable as if doing 80km/h. Very easy, changing lanes with one hand,... This is so fantastic. I can't wait to get it on a circuit. And those brakes, my God. They stop you from 100 (62 miles) in under three seconds. Impressive!

But then, major changes. After 7 months of ownership, I'm obliged to change jobs, and with a salary going way down, I can't keep the car. It's been fun, it's been heaven, this car gave me so much and was so great to drive, I can't believe it. A final quickly-put-together Belgian meeting. A nice run, pictures and video. It won't do, but it's a hard life. I'll miss it. It was true love.
