From the A417 Swindon
After the long dual carrriageway blast and the roundabout and drop into Nettleton Bottom you come down a hill there is the Air Ballon pub on the left
Turn RIGHT at the roundabout, then 1st LEFT onto the B4070 (Signed Leckhampton)
Follow this road until you start to drop down a hill into Cheltenham, At 30 limit then take 1st turning RIGHT into Old Bath Road (the road has a keep left bollard). If you've hit a double mini r'bout you've gone too far
Stay on Old Bath Road (straight over 3 mini r'bouts) until you hit some traffic lights.
Go STRAIGHT OVER lights into Hales Road (Russell Arms pub on right)
Athelney Way is the 6th turning on the right (Signed Battledown Ind Estate)

From Junction 11 of the M5
Head into Cheltenham, (past large GCHQ building on left) STRAIGHT OVER 2 roundabouts (with traffic lights) and 1 set of lights with Shell garage on the right (handy stop point if you're after Optimax). All signed A40
After another set of lights (note Police Station on right!) you come to a large traffic island with petrol station on it, STRAIGHT OVER (still signed A40)
At next island/roundabout combination take SECOND EXIT signed A40/Hospital
At next lights (large Tower Block on left) go STRAIGHT OVER (staggered right/left). Still A40
Go past Hospital to mini roundabout TURN LEFT
Go STRAIGHT OVER next lights into Hales Road (Russell Arms pub on right)
Athelney Way is the 6th turning on the right (Signed Battledown Ind Estate)

From the A40 East (Oxford/London/M40)
Heading into Cheltenham on the A40 (beware of speed camera on hill past Dowdeswell Reservoir)
Continue STRAIGHT ON through Charlton Kings
At traffic light junction with A435 Cirencester Road (V shape with a church on your left) STRAIGHT ON
At next lights (no left turn) TURN RIGHT into Hales Road (signed Cheltenham Town Football Club)
Russell Arms pub is on right
Athelney Way is the 6th turning on the right (Signed Battledown Ind Estate)
