:: Brooklands Spring Italian Car Festival - Brooklands, England
Description:
Sunday May 2nd
Redevelopment of the Vickers runway at Brooklands has been brought forward which means that the track day we had planned for this April has been postponed until 2007! However, a one day event will go ahead on Sunday May 2nd.
There will be Italian car displays arranged in the paddock in front of the Club House, on the restored banked track and on grassed areas within the boundaries of the main museum area. Demonstrations of selected cars will take place on the Test Hill throughout the day.
The featured marque this year is Alfa Romeo and a number of historic, classic and competition cars have been invited to form a display in the paddock. There will also be a special Alfetta feature, in celebration of the model¹s 30th anniversary.
Other major displays will include supercars from Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, and special club areas for Alfa Romeo, Lancia and the Fiats owners' clubs.
Entry to this exciting event will also include admission to all the motoring and aviation exhibitions. There will also be an extensive trade area and autojumble and refreshments will be available from the museum¹s restaurant.
Entry is £9 per adult payable at the main entrance on the day.
